5.0 out of 5 stars Nespresso Delight: A Perfect Brew of Taste and Balance
As an avid coffee enthusiast, I’m ecstatic about my recent purchase of the Nespresso Machine. This coffee machine has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine, providing me with consistently amazing coffee experiences.
The coffee taste is simply outstanding – rich, bold, and aromatic, satisfying even the most discerning coffee lover. With a wide selection of Nespresso capsules available, I can easily customize my drink to my taste and mood, whether it be an intense espresso or a smooth and mild coffee.
What truly stands out about this machine is the perfect combination between coffee and milk it offers when making drinks. The integrated milk frothing system makes it effortless to create barista-quality lattes and cappuccinos, right in the comfort of my own home. With just a touch of a button, the Nespresso machine blends the right amount of coffee and perfectly textured milk, resulting in a velvety, smooth, and deliciously balanced beverage.
Cleaning and maintenance are a breeze, which is essential when considering a coffee machine purchase. The compact design also adds a sleek, modern touch to my kitchen counter.
All in all, the Nespresso Machine is a game-changer for coffee lovers seeking the perfect harmony between taste and balance. It’s definitely an investment worth making, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars Results like a barista available to everyone. Fast, hot coffee with silky milk.
I’ve used Nespresso before but this machine is like no other I’ve ever tried.

Let’s start with the surface, it’s mostly wipe clean stainless steel and looks stunning and professional. It has an ample drip tray, small cup holder that slides away and a nice big screen on top. It’s also the easiest to put pods into and eject out, no struggling against the mechanism, you feel the quality from the moment you pop in a pod.

It dispenses a range of black and milky coffees via its menu system and an easy turn dial. It heats up in 3 seconds, you don’t even notice any warm up time. If dispensing milky drinks it auto froths via the steam wand and the included milk jug. You then just wipe the wand clean, when you let go, it softly drops back and cleans itself automatically.

Every coffee type has settings including temperature, volume, milk temperature and milk froth bubble size which it remembers.

Everything about this is easy but so configurable to your ideal coffee.

It looks good, it makes really hot coffee and milk and it’s so easy to use and clean, definitely the best pod machine on the market, I have no complaints at all, how often do you find that?!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection
This is the ultimate Nespresso maker. Breville combined the best of the best, an excellent, super fast heating Nespresso capsule espresso maker, and a good solid steamer. Then put it all in a package that is gorgeous. And included really simple, intuitive controls.

The instructions say, warms up in three seconds. Not 100% accurate, more like about 10 seconds from completely off to actually delivering espresso or steaming milk. That’s far better than the standard Nespresso machines that take around two minutes to warm up.

This uses a lot more electricity than the other models. The heating element and pump seem to be much larger. If your kitchen circuit is close to capacity, best to not run this and the toaster at the same time.

There is a small learning curve and not everything is super high quality. The steamer is super easy to use. However after you steam milk, have a towel ready to wipe down the steamer right away. Because when you return the steam wand back to home, the steamer purges automatically. You want the milk off the wand before it purges.

There are a couple of seemingly flimsy parts. The espresso tray feels kind of cheap. This is the little drawer that slides out for shorter cups, like an espresso cup. I would have loved the drawer to be spring loaded and to push out completely. Instead it bumps out a little bit and then you have to pull it out the rest of the way. The spent capsule tray has a loose fit – it just doesn’t feel expensive.

The selection knob works backwards – when you turn the knob clockwise, the selections move from right to left.

The screen is easy to read. And the whole thing is infinitely adjustable. And super intuitive to make adjustments, unlike Nespresso machines that require some crazy button pressing to change the volume.

This will make three espresso sizes – ristretto, espresso, and lungo. The volume for each of those can be adjusted, if you like your espresso slightly larger, well press the select button, and then turn the dial to increase the volume. It is as simple as that.

It has four frothed milk drink settings – flat white – steamed milk with almost not foam (a cafe au lait) and espresso; cafe latte – steamed milk with a little bit of foam and espresso; cappuccino – truly steam foam and espresso; latte machiatto – combination milk on the bottom and foam on the top and espresso; and simply steam.
For each of those drinks, the milk temperature and amount of foaming can be adjusted.

The milk steaming / foaming is fully automatic. You pour milk into the included carafe, lift the steam wand with the ring, put the carafe in the machine, lower the wand, and the steaming starts automatically. No need to stir, or move the carafe. The head has multiple holes to stir the milk and foam at the same time. The Nespresso pump works to pump hot steam into the milk, and then a block heater creates high pressure steam at the end to finish the foaming. Temperatures are incredibly reproducible.

The water reservoir is huge. About double the size of any other Nespresso machine. There is a unique low water indicator. The bottom tray holds a lot of overflow. There is a red float that pops up when the tray is filling up.

I have owned and own many Nespresso machines. Starting with a D290 that was retired four years ago after making thousands of Nespresso. I used a Nespresso U for several months and gave that to my sister. I have a Essenza for travel. My wife has a Pixie at school. And the red Citiz is being replaced by this Creatista Plus. I have made thousands of Nespresso. In the long history, only one machine has ever acted up – that original D290, it actually still works, it just had trouble with preheating sometimes.

By far, the best machine of all that I have ever used is this Creatista Plus. Everything came together exactly right with this machine. They got the steaming perfect. And it produces the correct temperature right from the very first espresso made. Other machines require a water only warm up. This machine does not.

Best investment ever. The machine is sold by Breville – where ever you can find those appliances, you’ll find this machine. The service and warranty are all covered by Nespresso.

    Truly a gorgeous machine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn’t buy any other machine
This is the second of this type of machine we have bought . Our first one developed a fault after six years of daily use so as it was prime day we immediately ordered a replacement, even though we are paying nespresso to repair our machine to keep as a spare we know this new one will give us years of service . It’s totally idiot proof , easy to use , keep clean and looks amazing in the counter top .so much cleaner than a traditional machine would highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you like coffee for the milk buy this!
The media could not be loaded. Firstly I will start by saying that the Nespresso Creatista Plus has saved us a small fortune. We work from home and were always nipping out to buy takeaway coffees from our local cafe. Maybe only 5-6 a week for me and my wife in total. We picked this up at a bargain £260.00 on the sale on an Amazon interest free deal which worked out at about £ 20 per month so massive savings on the takeaways even including buying pods ( see my other reviews for our favourite pods).

If you are new to coffee pods I would say that the main difference between pods and cafe coffee is the strength and that they won’t compare well to your favourite barista coffee but a lot of coffee shops don’t make great coffee ( and our local is one of them) and we prefer the pods to these.

The other main point I would make is that if you drink black coffee such as espresso, lungo or Americano then it’s probably not worth buying this machine as there are lots of smaller simpler cheaper machines that do this. The very best thing about this machine is the milk frother and is the reason we bought it. I drink cortados and flat whites and my wife drinks cappucinos and we are both happy with the different types of steamed/foamed milk needed for these.

Operation is easy ( a little noisy but only for about 30seconds ) just select your coffee on the screen and follow the instructions, it’s honestly fun to use and my wife and I like to make our own. I run the water twice through the pod to give a stronger taste to my flat whites.

Cleaning is easy. We got rid of a ground coffee espresso machine because it was messy and a faff to clean so we didn’t use it much. This coffee tastes better too.

As you might have guessed we are very happy with our purchase and recommend it highly, now if you’ll excuse me I have a sudden desire to make a coffee!

4.0 out of 5 stars Like all good things in life, its a bit high maintenance
So like all good things in life this coffee machine is a little high maintenance. Let me explain….

There can be no doubt this is a great addition to the Nespresso range, I would go as far as to say its the best machine they offer at the moment. If they produced something like this for their Vertuo pods it would seal the deal as far as many would be concerned. Let me also say that I am a bit of a coffee ‘snob’, if I am in a rush I use bean to cup filter in the morning but more often than not I make the time to grind recently roasted coffee and enjoy a French Press or an Aeropress. I even find the right recipe for every batch of freshly roasted beans to ensure the best possible coffee.

But I do see that there is space in the universe for a half decent frothy coffee without the mess and hassle of an expensive dual boiler espresso machine. Hence the reason I have one of these.

Now to the machine itself. Unboxing wise its a standard Nespresso affair, but one notable difference is they include a water testing strip to dial in the exact water hardness setting for your area. Nice and possibly a bit excessive at the same time. Setup is pretty straightforward and when done you will be happy with the way your purchase looks. Its a stunner, and well built to boot.

Operation wise its also a beaut. The guided menu system is intuitive and guides your through the whole process of first the shot, then the milk and you can customise each drink type in terms of temperature and milk froth / voulume. When the shot is complete, and your remove the milk jug the steam wand will clean (or attempt) to clean itself by ejecting some water from the four steam wholes. As its doing that you’ll be pouring your milk in to your shot and trying your best to make a Barista level pattern on the top. As your marvel at your creation you’ll grab a damp cloth and wipe the milk from the wand and bang you’re done.

I have read some comments from people to say that the unit does not make consecutive drinks very well and that its only attended to make a single drink then cool down. Not true, I make 2 back to back and on occasion have made 4-6 when we’ve had guests.

Why only 4 stars you ask? Well, back to my opening comment. Its a bit high maintenance for a Nespresso unit. The main issue is the steam wand, well no, its the only issue and I think Sage, and Nespresso know that this is an issue and they supply a handy steam wand cleaning tool and a whole maintenance section on wand cleaning. More often than I would like you’ll receive a warning to clean the steam wand, more often than not when you are trying to make a coffee. This is a neseccary evil, a burden you must carry if you want to use this unit, but its worth it for what this can produce.

    Pros:-

    – Looks
    – Guided menu system
    – Build quality
    – Real steamed not frothed milk
    – It can just froth milk for kids hot chocolates
    – Large water tank
    – Best Nespresso coffee possible

    Cons:-

    – Bit high maintenance

5.0 out of 5 stars Best machine we’ve had
We have been through about 4 previous espresso coffee machines over the last 12 years or so, including Gaggia (regular espresso, and a bean-to-cup machine) and AEG/Lavazza (two generations of the Fantasia), and this is easily the best of them.

    The big advantages are:
    – Most importantly, it makes the best coffee we’ve had out of a home machine
    – Solid build – it looks and feels really well built, and the stainless steel finish looks great
    – User interface – I thought the screen would be a gimmick but it’s actually very useful having a display telling you what the machine is doing and what needs doing next. This is really useful for maintenance activities like descaling and cleaning the steam wand
    – Milk steaming – we drink mostly cafe lattes and our daughter likes babyccinos (frothed milk) so this is important to us. I’ve previously had machines with traditional steam wands (Gaggia), as well as the AEG Lavazza which had a contraption for whizzing milk in a special jug while pumping steam into it. Neither of these matched the quality of the steamed milk that the Sage machine produces automatically. Firstly, it gets the temperature spot on every time due to a cleverly located thermometer that makes contact with the metal milk jig – no more “burnt” milk (which smells and tastes disgusting). Secondly, the settings allow the ratio of steam and air to be changed, from flat white (silky microfoam texture, very few air bubbles) to maximum froth which results in the volume increasing by about x4 and makes an amazing babyccino.
    – Some other nice design features, like the steam wand multi-tool hidden underneath the water container that can be used to clean the holes in the tool wand as well as unscrew the cap for cleaning the inside, the ring handle at the top the water container that makes it easy to pull out and carry, the push-to-open shelf for placing short cups closer to the coffee spout, and the way it waits for the steam wand to return after removing the milk jug before steam purging to keep the inside of the wand clean.

One thing that I would have liked is to buy another one of the stainless steel milk jugs that came with it, as these constantly need cleaning. I couldn’t find an original one, however I found another that works just as well, except it doesn’t have the min/max level markings but these could be added with a permanent marker: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07L2ZMS11/

The one annoyance I’ve noticed so far is that when descaling, if you leave it doing its “thing” for too long it tends to go to sleep and then when it wakes up you have to start the whole cycle again. It will actually lock you out of making any more coffee until the descale cycle makes it all the way to the end of the cycle.

I would also add that the used capsule container only stores about a dozen capsules, and the drip tray fills up quite quickly, so both of these need emptying quite frequently.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brighter View from Nespresso Creatista
The Nespresso Cretaceous is a very nice machine and incredibly easy to use. We’ve had it for a week and so far, there have been no issues. It looks very nice, and the milk frother makes the milk nice, hot, and fluffy. At this stage, I would recommend buying it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes wonderful coffee! Would not be without it.
This was a replacement for another, identical machine my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed using. I love the Lungo and Espresso and she loves the flat white, would recommend this to anyone who enjoys real coffee.

The original machine had to be scrapped as it was damaged when our home was damaged and we had to move into temporary accommodation. After a few weeks I ordered this from Amazon and it made an awful situation more bearable having a decent cup of coffee.

However, a fault developed with the machine from Amazon and I must say the response by Amazon and Nesspresso has been first class. Thank you Amazon and Nesspresso we can now enjoy a lovely cup of java again. While the machine was away for repair Nesspresso provided a replacement free of charge.

I should ay that there are many other companies in the UK who can learn a lot from the first class customer support from Amazon/Nesspresso.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Nespresso Machine for Perfect Lattes & Cappuccinos
We were looking for a higher quality replacement for our Delonghi Lattissima machine & we wanted the milk function, so we went for this. The machine is perfect & next level (x 2). Really nicely made & the milk comes out hot, smooth & genuinely coffee shop level. The large water capacity is also a real godsend too. We could not be happier with it & think it is cracking value at £279.00. Buy with confidence.
